Locate the AV1 Port: Find and plug the 6 meter/20 feet cable into the AV1 port of the CarTablet Pro Max. Route the Cable: Carefully route the cable from the front to the rear of your car, hiding it under interior panels or carpeting to keep it out of sight. Mount the Reversing Camera: Attach the reversing camera to the rear of your car using adhesive mounts or existing screws/bolts to avoid drilling. Power the Camera: Connect the camera's power cables to your car’s reversing light circuit, so it powers on when the car is in reverse. Test the Setup: Turn on your car, shift into reverse, and check if the camera feed appears on the CarTablet Pro Max. Adjust the camera angle if necessary.

Best Carplay Alternate
Tested with iPhone, and CarPlay/AirPlay works flawlessly. Easy Bluetooth pairing, clear 10” screen, and AirPlay for video streaming make it great for entertainment. Audio via AUX sounds perfect, but the dashcam’s view is partially blocked due to mounting. Wish dashcam footage was accessible via CarPlay!

Got this for my Dad’s older truck, and he loves it! Big screen, seamless connection, and touchscreen works great. He uses Waze and other apps, and the backup camera activates in reverse. Setup was simple, and wiring the reverse camera was easy. Highly recommend for bringing modern features to an old car!
Amazing Quality!
Makes our old car way more functional! Touchscreen + Bluetooth integration work seamlessly, and it recognizes both iPhone & Android. Bright screen, but could dim more at night. Front camera auto-records, and the rear camera works but needs wiring. Even just for the big screen, it’s totally worth it the cameras are a bonus!

Awesome device. Upgraded my 2019 sprinter van to apple car play and dash cam. Easy to setup in less than 10 minutes. I used a direct usb c connection from my radio directly to the CarPlay without having to use the 12 volt adapter.
